EU Mission:
Adaptation to Climate Change

The Mission on Adaptation is intended for all actors engaged in strengthening climate resilience. It targets policymakers, regional and local authorities, research institutions, businesses, and other stakeholders who play a role in designing, testing, or implementing adaptation solutions.

Through its collaborative framework and dedicated Community of Practice, the Mission supports cooperation, knowledge exchange, and joint action among these stakeholders to accelerate the development and rollout of effective climate adaptation measures.

  • HORIZON-MISS-2026-06-CLIMA-SOIL: Joint demonstration of solutions to build soil resilience to extreme weather events and support food security

Horizon Europe context and partnership opportunities

Between 2026 and 2027, Horizon Europe will allocate approximately €14 billion across European organizations to work on cross-national projects.
